Giving to your homeland and by extension to its people, shows greatness of soul. Mrs. Konstantina Stamatelopoulou – Kolokytha, loving Chora Messinia, she created a Foundation under the name KONSTANTINAS KOLOKYTHA – STAMATELOPOULO FOUNDATION with the distinct title "ANCIENT PYLOS".

The purpose of the Foundation is the construction of a hall in the Archaeological Museum of Chora and its contribution to the social, cultural and economic development of the residents of Chora and the wider region. Also, the promotion and learning of Linear B writing, awards to students, scholarships, seminars, studies and anything else that comes from proposals from its fellow citizens.
